Understanding REGYMEN

REGYMEN is a coach-led community-performance gym for people who want more from their training. You get professionally programmed strength and conditioning, open-gym access, progress tracking and accountability, and a strong local community. You don't need to be an athlete before you join — you become more athletic by participating.

We sit between a traditional gym, a boutique studio and a specialist performance facility — the community and coaching of boutique fitness, the flexibility of an open gym, and the structured training normally reserved for athletes. "Performance" doesn't only mean competing: it means measurable progress toward something that matters to you, whether that's getting stronger, losing body fat, returning from injury or keeping up with your kids.

Everyday people who want to train with greater purpose — complete beginners, people returning to training, busy parents, members chasing fat loss or muscle, recreational athletes like HYROX competitors, runners and team-sport players, and existing gym members looking for more. You don't have to compete and you don't have to be fit before joining. You just need to be willing to start.

A traditional gym gives you equipment; we add coaching, programming, accountability, community and performance measurement. Compared with F45 we offer a broader ecosystem — strength, conditioning, HYROX prep, open gym, event training and three pathways. Compared with CrossFit we're mass-market and scaled to your ability, with no complex gymnastics required. Compared with BFT we add open-gym access, daily independent programming and performance testing. Compared with Anytime Fitness we add coaching alongside the convenience, so you're never left on your own.

Because training shouldn't feel anonymous, repetitive or disconnected from a meaningful outcome. You get variety without randomness, performance without intimidation, community without conformity, and structure without rigidity. The campaign is playful — the promise behind it is serious. We want a gym people are genuinely excited to attend.

For Existing Members

Members increasingly want better strength training, greater flexibility, open-gym access, clearer programming and more individual support. REGYMEN delivers a more complete experience while protecting the community already built here — the friendships, energy and sense of belonging should become even stronger. Coach-led group training remains a core part of the model; the range of formats and equipment simply expands.

No. Every session has options for different abilities — you'll never be expected to lift a certain weight, run a certain speed or complete movements that aren't right for you. REGYMEN isn't becoming a bodybuilding gym: strength training matters more because it supports health, confidence and injury resilience, but muscle gain is just one goal among many. And it isn't a HYROX-only gym either — HYROX prep is one part of the Compete pathway. You can be a full member without ever entering a race.

You'll be supported through every step. Coaches will explain the new class formats, the equipment, the three pathways, open-gym programming and how to set your first goal. Your transfer details — new membership option, pricing, inclusions, start date and any action required — will be communicated directly before launch, as will any pricing changes and any closure period for refurbishment. The intention is that you keep seeing familiar coaches while gaining additional expertise.

The Three Pathways

Access, Perform and Compete. Access is flexible, independent training with daily programmed options. Perform is the core pathway — professionally programmed, coach-led training for measurable results. Compete is event-specific preparation for HYROX, Deadly Dozen, running races and team competitions. These aren't separate communities, just different entry points into the same gym, and your pathway isn't a permanent label.

Perform is for everyday people chasing measurable physical results — getting fitter, building strength, losing body fat, adding muscle, training consistently and feeling athletic again. It includes structured strength and conditioning, individual scaling for your level, regular testing and progress tracking, coach-led group sessions, and accountability from the coaching team.

Compete is for members preparing for a specific event or performance goal — HYROX, Deadly Dozen, running events, fitness races, team and strength competitions, and sport-specific challenges. It may include event-specific programming, strength and conditioning, running development, race simulations, performance testing, competition strategy, recovery guidance and coach accountability. The objective isn't just to help you exercise; it's to have you arrive ready to perform.

Access is for members who value flexibility and independent training. It's more than equipment access — each day you can choose from programmed Strength, Conditioning or Performance options, or follow your own programme. You can train around work and family, add sessions outside coached classes and complete independent strength work. And yes, you can move between pathways: start on Access, join Perform classes, enter a HYROX event, move into Compete, then return to Perform. A coach will help you pick the right starting point.

Joining REGYMEN

No. Waiting until you're fit enough to join a gym is like waiting until you're clean enough to take a shower. Our coaches meet you at your current level — exercises, loads, distances, speeds and intensity can all be adjusted. The most important step is starting.

Your journey starts with a conversation, not an interrogation. First, a goal conversation covering your goals, current fitness, training history, injuries, preferred training style and availability. Then a pathway recommendation. Then an initial performance assessment — strength, aerobic fitness, work capacity, mobility and movement confidence — as a starting point, not an intimidating test or public leaderboard. Finally you're introduced to the coaching team, shown around, connected with other members and supported through your first sessions.

The Founding 100 is for the first 100 eligible new members who complete signup and activation of a Perform or Compete membership at REGYMEN Silverdale. Access does not qualify, and current F45 members are not eligible. Each receives a permanent founding number from 1 to 100 in signup order. Submitting an enquiry or booking a consultation does not reserve a place. Founding members start with the 60-Day Performance Proof — an initial goal consultation, a personalised programme, an assigned trainer and two 20-minute one-to-one catch-ups at about day 30 and day 60. It is a coached opening phase of a paid membership, not a free trial or guaranteed result. If you would like to try REGYMEN first, see the 7-day trial on the Memberships page.

REGYMEN won't be right for everyone — if you only want the cheapest possible access to equipment, a low-cost gym may suit you better. Consider switching if your current gym gives you access but not direction, and you want coaches who know your goals, someone who notices when you stop showing up, a pathway to events like HYROX and Deadly Dozen, structured programming instead of wandering around, more progressive strength training, and a reason to keep showing up.

Classes & Programming

Every class follows professionally designed programming. The coach explains the purpose of the session, demonstrates the movements and offers options for different abilities. Sessions feel different day to day but work together to improve you over time — variety without randomness. Classes run approximately 45–50 minutes, with specialist sessions, testing days, event simulations or workshops sometimes running longer. Durations are shown on the timetable.

Depending on the session, any combination of strength and lifting (barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, sleds, progressive overload), conditioning (SkiErg, RowErg, treadmill intervals, functional and athletic movement), and team or recovery work (partner training, team challenges, recovery-focused sessions).

For most members, three to five well-planned sessions a week produces meaningful progress — seven hard sessions isn't automatically better, and your coach can build a weekly schedule around your goals, recovery and experience. You don't need to attend every class type; your ideal mix depends on your goal. Booking is recommended because class capacity may be limited — it lets us manage safety, prepare equipment and maintain coaching quality. If a class is full, join the waitlist and you'll be moved in automatically when someone cancels.

You may progressively lift heavier as your strength and technique improve, but you'll never be forced beyond your ability — "heavy" is relative, and technique comes before load. No barbell experience needed; you might start with bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells or an empty barbell. Some sessions include treadmill or outdoor running, particularly conditioning and event-specific work, and running can be scaled with slower paces, shorter intervals or substitutions on the bike, rower or SkiErg. You can also avoid specific exercises where a suitable alternative exists — just tell your coach about pain, injury, medical restrictions, pregnancy or movement limitations.

A water bottle, a towel, comfortable training clothes, supportive training shoes and any personal medical items you need. For most classes a stable cross-training shoe works best — highly cushioned running shoes can feel unstable during strength work. Arrive 10–15 minutes early, especially for your first session, so you catch the warm-up and the coach's briefing; entry after the warm-up has started may be at the coach's discretion for safety. A late-cancellation policy may apply to protect class availability, with the exact window and fee confirmed in the final membership rules.

Goals, Results & Accountability

Yes to all three. Training supports fat-loss goals, though nutrition, sleep, stress and lifestyle also matter. Beginners often make significant strength progress because the body is adapting to a new stimulus, and you don't need to chase maximum lifts to get meaningfully stronger. Structured strength training and progressive overload support muscle development, alongside nutrition, protein, recovery and sleep. Progress is measured through strength benchmarks, aerobic fitness, work capacity, personal bests, attendance, event performance, movement quality, goal completion and body composition where appropriate.

Every member starts with a goal conversation, and the details are recorded so the whole coaching team understands what you want to achieve, your starting point, your history, any restrictions and the support you need — no member should feel anonymous. Within a group-training environment coaches can advise on exercise selection, scaling, training frequency, technique, goal setting, recovery and event prep. When you reach your goal, you set the next one.

Motivation is unreliable, which is why we focus on systems, coaching and accountability. The team monitors attendance, engagement, consistency and progress, and the goal is to contact you early if you go quiet rather than wait until you cancel. Your first assessment becomes a baseline used to pick your pathway, set realistic targets and track improvement. No responsible fitness business guarantees a specific physical result — your outcome depends on attendance, effort, nutrition, recovery, sleep and lifestyle — but we promise the environment, coaching, structure and support to give you a strong chance of succeeding.

HYROX & Event Training

Yes. HYROX demands running, strength endurance, aerobic fitness, work capacity, movement efficiency and race strategy — all of which REGYMEN training develops. Members on the Compete pathway receive more specific race preparation, including race simulations with running intervals, station practice, transitions, pacing and partner strategy. You never have to enter a competition though: events are an opportunity, not an obligation.

Yes, provided you allow enough time and build progressively — starting with movement competency, aerobic development, strength, running tolerance and consistency, then adding race-specific intensity later. Entering an event should provide motivation, not trigger six weeks of panic and tendonitis. The Compete pathway also supports Deadly Dozen, running races, fitness races, team competitions, strength events and athletic challenges, with programming adapted to each event. REGYMEN will be an official HYROX affiliated club.

Open-Gym Access

Open gym is one of the core differences in the REGYMEN model. You can follow daily programming, complete additional strength work, train around your schedule, practise movements or add lower-intensity sessions. Three daily options — Strength, Conditioning and Performance — give you a clear plan even when you're not in a class, and you can follow your own programme provided you train safely, respect class areas and follow gym rules. Access is based around the group fitness schedule, with final operating hours confirmed before launch, and a coach may not always be on the floor during open-gym periods. Staffed hours will be clearly displayed.

Injuries, Health & Accessibility

Tell the coach before class. Where appropriate they can adjust the exercise, load, range of motion, speed, distance, impact or intensity — but coaches can modify training, not diagnose injuries, so you may be asked for clearance from a health professional. Training while recovering depends on the injury, the stage of recovery and medical advice, and we're happy to work alongside your physio. Many people continue exercising during pregnancy, but inform the team, get medical advice and follow your provider's restrictions. For any medical condition, speak with the team before you begin.

Strength, fitness, balance and mobility matter throughout life, and training is adapted to your experience, mobility, medical history, confidence, recovery and goals — age alone doesn't determine ability. If you're over 50 you won't feel out of place; REGYMEN isn't built around one age group or body type, and your competition is primarily with your previous self. A youth policy covering minimum joining age, guardian consent, supervision, access hours and class eligibility is being confirmed, so speak with the team for the latest information.

Community & Culture

A community where people support each other, celebrate progress, train with purpose, welcome beginners and build real friendships — local and personal, not manufactured by head office. Every new member is introduced to the coaching team, shown around and connected with other members. Expect launch events, member celebrations, post-competition gatherings, team events, workshops, community fundraisers and inter-club competitions, plus regular challenges — attendance challenges, strength benchmarks, team challenges, HYROX prep and running goals. Guest passes, referral trials and bring-a-friend events are part of the plan, with the exact policy confirmed before launch.

Yes. We intend to build partnerships with rugby, football, netball, running and surf clubs, schools, sports organisations and local coaches — offering team training, testing, event preparation, challenges and membership offers. For workplaces, potential services include trial weeks, team training, workplace challenges, fitness testing, staff memberships, event preparation and wellness activations. Final packages and pricing are developed separately.

People stay consistent when they feel known, supported and connected — community improves attendance, accountability, enjoyment, confidence and belonging. Members stay because they can see progress, their coaches know them, they have a clear goal, training stays challenging and their next goal keeps them moving. The objective isn't to trap people in a contract; it's to become too valuable to leave. Community can't excuse poor programming — we have to deliver both relationships and results.

Membership & Pricing

Access is $29.99/week, Perform is $69.99/week and Compete is $79.99/week. That's a complete performance membership, not a basic gym-access fee — positioned against the combined cost of gym access, group fitness, programming, performance coaching, event preparation, testing, accountability and community experiences. Inclusions cover coached group sessions, structured programming, open-gym access, strength and conditioning, event preparation, performance assessments, progress tracking, community challenges and events, and coach support. Final inclusions may vary by membership type.

The Access pathway at $29.99/week gives you access to the club around the hours of the group fitness schedule, with a daily programme — Strength, Conditioning or Performance — available as part of that membership. No joining fee is defined. Pricing is expressed as a weekly rate; the exact billing frequency, payment provider and direct-debit terms are confirmed in the membership agreement.

Flexible memberships can be cancelled at any time and continue only to the end of the current paid week, with no cancellation fee. Perform 12-Month has a 52-week minimum term and its published early-cancellation terms apply. Holds are available for travel, injury, medical reasons, pregnancy, or exceptional personal circumstances, normally for three to six weeks per calendar year. You can also discuss changing pathways or membership types as your needs change.

Flexible memberships can be cancelled at any time and continue to the end of the current paid week. Perform 12-Month may be cancelled early without a fee when permanent relocation is more than 30 kilometres from any REGYMEN facility or when a significant medical condition, injury, or pregnancy reasonably prevents ongoing use. We may request limited supporting evidence. Temporary holds and modified training may also be available.

Coaching & Support

Every coached class is led by two qualified coaches. You may not have one exclusive personal coach, but the system is designed so the whole team understands your goals and progress, and selected memberships may later include more individual support. Coaches hold appropriate fitness qualifications and complete education covering REGYMEN programming, coaching standards, movement instruction, member pathways, scaling, performance testing, safety and member experience.

Four things. Know you — your name, goals, history and restrictions. Educate you — explain the purpose of training, demonstrate movements and correct technique. Scale for you — adjust exercises appropriately and hold you accountable every session. Recognise you — acknowledge progress, reach out when you go quiet and help you set the next goal. A coach isn't just there to start a timer and turn up the music.

Yes, one-on-one coaching is available — whether you want to refine technique, follow an individualised programme, return safely from injury, prepare for competition, build strength or gain confidence as a beginner. Availability, services and pricing are managed independently by each trainer, so speak with a coach to find the right fit. On nutrition, coaches can provide general healthy-lifestyle guidance within their qualifications but won't prescribe clinical diets unless appropriately qualified. Future support may include nutrition workshops, habit coaching, qualified consultations and referral partnerships.

The Member Promise

No anonymous members. No random training. No one left behind. A coach who knows your name, honest accountability with encouragement when you're pushing and a check-in when you go quiet, a genuine sense of belonging, a programme with purpose where every session moves you closer to something that matters, visible progress that's measured and celebrated, and a reason to keep showing up. Tell us where you want to go — we'll help you get there.
